It\u2019s a dance, you know<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The people, the boxes, the scrrritchy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

sound of tape<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sweat, coke, coffee and biscuits<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No swear words, they are very polite<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soft padding on the stairs, no shoes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bubble wrap squeaking,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Darth Vader wrapped in plastic<\/p>\n\n\n\n

from head to below his knees, finally<\/p>\n\n\n\n

captured<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some heavy sighs, understandable, those<\/p>\n\n\n\n

wardrobes are a nightmare to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

disassemble. He remembers, from<\/p>\n\n\n\n

last time. And I went and bought<\/p>\n\n\n\n

another one. Sorry, I say<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s ok he says<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m not sure it is, but<\/p>\n\n\n\n

he does not complain<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ever<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m full of energy, and completely<\/p>\n\n\n\n

exhausted<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I sit down I want to sleep, if I stand up I<\/p>\n\n\n\n

want to laugh and chat and do more stuff<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a little discombobulating, inhabiting two states<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of being at once<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I\u2019m here, by my desk, with wine<\/p>\n\n\n\n

glasses clinking in the next room, paper<\/p>\n\n\n\n

scrunching, boxes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

swept along floorboards<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wondering if the tube will keep me<\/p>\n\n\n\n

awake at night, if the kids<\/p>\n\n\n\n

will be ok, if the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

dog will bark every two minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s how often it will pass<\/p>\n\n\n\n

under our house<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right there, in the ground<\/p>\n\n\n\n

lots of people, who have no idea<\/p>\n\n\n\n

their commute will stir my coffee and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

massage my feet, and I think;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

why do I feel so positive?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because I do. I feel fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calm. OK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the difficult bits in life are<\/p>\n\n\n\n

not<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a vibration<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The difficult bits in life are not a <\/p>\n\n\n\n

click<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of a track or swoosh <\/p>\n\n\n\n

of a train<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is<\/p>\n\n\n\n

befitting for us<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think<\/p>\n\n\n\n

with a life in<\/p>\n\n\n\n

rhythmic resonance<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and the dog barks<\/p>\n\n\n\n
